Le liste su Twitter
Le liste, per organizzare i propri contatti su Twitter, sono una funzione nata di recente.
Sono molto comode, perchè così puoi suddividere tutti quelli che segui (i cosìdetti "Following") in gruppi, secondo le tue preferenze. L'elenco può essere condiviso con altri (oppure conservarlo in forma privata) e semplifica la ricerca di persone con interessi comuni.
Facciamo qualche esempio pratico.
Per gestire le liste devi loggarti online nel tuo account Twitter. Appena fatto vedrai un nuovo bottone (guarda l'immagine sotto) con scritto "Lists"
Cliccandolo, ti si aprirà una finestra dove potrai personalizzare qualche campo:

Il nome della lista
E' consigliabile scegliere un nome che ti aiuti a suddividere i tuoi contatti. Per generi, per aree di interesse. Come ad esempio: Amici Italiani, Esperti in marketing, Celebrità, etc etc - Scegliere se condividere questa lista pubblicamente (far vedere a tutti che l'hai creata e chi ci hai messo dentro) oppure no.
Una volta creata una lista…devi ovviamente "riempirla", inserendo i tuoi contatti.
Per farlo, dovrai cliccare su "Following" nel menu online di destra e vedrai che, vicino ad ogni tuo contatto, è comparso un nuovo bottone dedicato alle Liste (vedi immagine sotto).
A questo punto dovrai aggiunger o meno, i tuoi contatti alla/alle lista creata.
La funzione della Lista su Twitter è comoda perchè così ti premette di leggere i Tweet di chi hai deciso di seguire ma suddivisi a livello tematico. Un bel passo avanti.
Non solo, nel tuo account Twitter troverai anche l'indicazione di chi ti ha messo in quale lista. Così scoprirari anche come la Twittersphera ti considera!
Da oggi è inoltre quindi possibile seguire liste di determinati argomenti o persone.
Come racconta poi il buon Giorgio Taverniti nel suo forum " Da non sottovalutare che le liste si possono seguire anche e quindi creare una bella lsita può portare ad un discreto successo del proprio profilo."

5 consigli per chi usa Twitter
Le basi di Twitter sono semplici. Però non tutti le osservano e vale la pena continuare a tornarci sempre sopra.
Ecco i 5 migliori consigli di sempre:
- Usa una tua foto: assicurati di aver caricato nel tuo account Twitter una tua immagine o il tuo logo aziendale. Nel caso di una persone, l'ideale è una foto del tuo viso in modo da renderti immediatamente riconoscibile. Prima di volerti seguire e vedere quello che hai da dire, gli altri Tweeters vogliono sapere chi sei. E non barare.

Fatti Re-Tweettare: scrivi cose interessanti, divertenti, appassionanti. E verrai
Re-tweettato, ovvero, verrai citato.
Ricordati però di lasciare anche 18-20 caratteri liberi nel tuo Tweet in modo che chi ti Re-tweetta possa aggiungere un proprio commento. -
Twitter non è come una email: non devi per forza rispondere a tutti i Tweet che leggi e se ne perdi qualcuno non è come avere la propria casella email piena.
Twitter è un fiume, non un lago. Twitter non è l'email. -
Usa il tuo vero nome: su Twitter dovresti utilizzare il tuo vero nome o quello della tua società.
Se fossero già stati presi, prova con una combinazione con l'underscore (_) o il trattino (-).
Non prendere nomi account troppo fantasiosi e difficili da ricordare come @superseoexpert @ilmiglioredimilano, @ossyossy09 etc etc - Osserva sempre l'unica regola d'oro esistente: rispondi quando necessario, occasionalmente fai dei RT, sii d'aiuto, sii simpatico, non essere snob, sii gentile ed educato.

Tweetie per Mac
Che cos'è
Tweetie è un un client per chi ha il Mac e vuole usare Twitter. Wired l'ha definita come una interfaccia così semplice e pulita da far credere che sia stata sviluppata direttamente dalla Apple.
(Tweetie è anche una bella applicazione per iPhone ma qui parliamo solo della sua versione per Mac).
Come funziona
Come detto sopra è un client desktop, ovvero, ti scarichi il programma sul tuo Mac, lo installi, lo fai partire e…puoi Twittare senza doverti connettere al sito ufficiale di Twitter. E' rapido, veloce e intuitivo. Una soluzione adottata praticamente da tutti quelli che hanno un Mac. Viene distribuito in
due versioni, una free (che però mostra degli annunci pubblicitari) e una a pagamento a 19,95 dollari.
Vediamo qualche schermata:
Cliccando su un Tweet non solo potrai leggerlo ma seguire l'eventuale conversazione storica. Spesso infatti si rischia di perdere l'intera conversazione perchè i tweet non sono uno concatenato all'altro. Con Tweetie invece non avrai questo problema 
Ci sono tante "finestre indipendenti", puoi scrivere infatti più tweet contemporaneamente a persone diverse (è una follia ma a volte viene comodo!)
C'è la ricerca, ci sono i Trend, dettagli sui Tweeters (cliccando sul nome di un tuo amico ad esempio, non solo leggerai la sua bio ma potrai vedere tutti i suoi tweet, ma anche quelli che gli hanno scritto) e la possibilità di settare più di un account.

Perchè se hai un Mac questo client per Twitter è stato disegnato per te. Si integra alla perfezione.

Significati di alcune abbreviazioni
Chi va di fretta spesso ha bisogno di alcune abbreviazioni per…andare ancora più di fretta. Così le chat, gli instant messenger e gli sms si riempiono di sigle che, per alcuni, rimangono davvero misteriose.
Non fa eccezione Twitter. Anzi, proprio perchè qui, come per gli sms, c’è un limite (Twitter massimo 140 caratteri), le abbreviazioni sono necessarie e abusate.

Come mai è così bello usare Twitter? Cos’ha di così particolare?
